Slovenia’s flagship event for the European Mile took place on 5 June in Novo mesto, a charming town in the South-East of the country. Various activities were organised including hiking, a Nordic walking workshop, basketball, seated volleyball, dance, a skills challenge and more. The event moderator Rado Trifković, with the help of volunteers, made sure the participants had a fantastic time and enjoyed the physical activities.

Donated miles from Slovenia (over 100,000 miles) were converted into donations (2 times 1,000€), which were presented to representatives of two schools from Novo mesto working with individuals with special needs. The donations will be used to help people with special needs join in physical activities.
