Let’s get moving and reconnect with people around Europe!

The European Mile is a free event celebrating the joy of moving at your own pace – by running, walking or rolling a mile, but the best part is that we can do it all together!

Whether you’re out on a street, strolling across the park or warming up at home, in front of your screen - join our LIVE event on 5 June, 11:00 a.m. CEST. It’s going to be fun and easy, we’re going to travel across the Europe and discover our favourite places to be active.

Ready, set… !

Follow our Facebook event for updates.

The link to the online LIVE event will appear on the event page soon. The streaming will be also shared on YouTube and official website for the European Mile, where you can also donate your miles to the Daily Mile Foundation.

One mile a day keeps the doctor away

Daily physical activity has a great impact on our health and well-being. It reduces the risk of many non-communicable diseases (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, heart diseases and others), boosts your energy, helps to control weight, promotes better sleep and – simply – makes your happier! It is also crucial for the psychophysical development of children. So little to do, so much to gain!

Why the one-mile distance?

The Mile (1.6 km) is a distance that virtually anyone can cover. It is accessible and unique! The Mile is also the official athletics running distance.
